Day Two

Alternatively....this.

So day two of Thanksgiving with the family. I had a half hour or so of break after dinner. The replacement pet (an owl named Pedro, yeah, I know owls kinda can suck, but there aren't any cats out there I like right now, and frankly, I don't party much anyways, at least not enough for his big owl wings to get in the way) and I cleared a wing of SM up to the first boss, Huntsman, then downed him. My old twenty nine gloves dropped. Hahah, I remember those. Nice agi stats. He was fun to solo with Pedro. We were working on some casual chain trapping techniques. Pedro tanked a dog and Hunstman, I tanked two dogs. We killed Hunstman then took turns tanking (and freezing) the last three dogs. Not a hard thing to solo. Plus, at level fifty, if you die you sorta kinda suck, no offense. But it was fun.

So, seeing that a bunch of my other friends surpassed my level (me +8 specifically) in the last three days, I decided to feel ashamed for myself. I've been kinda sorta leveling Gal and Zocks, but really I don't do much on them. SM doesn't even really have a good money/time ratio. We're talking epic mount money here. I could spend that time leveling and then grind for gold in Outland.

But SM is too fun.

And I spend way too much of my other time playing alts, most of which only make it to level six before I ditch them out of boredom (I do have higher alts, but I rarely play them, though I should....).

So anyways, point being: I need to just grind and quest and work on Gal and hopefully get some momentum going by the time break is over. And finish college apps. But I digress. I also should maybe just consider PVPing my ass off at 59 or thereabouts so I do not have to pay for my actual mount. I can just buy a PVP raptor, or something of the like, and then only have to pay for training. I don't know, maybe by the time I can afford either it won't be such a big deal anymore.

I'm kind of rambling/brainstorming. I will be on later, so if anyone wants to group with a lame-ass, poorly-geared, owl-accompanied hunter, hit me up. I have real instances to do. On the other hand, I accept gold for running lowbies as well. Shrug.

Who wants to bet I can hit 54 by tonight? With time to sleep before daylight tomorrow.

JK, I'm really just praying for 51 right now.




We also need to respec. We know that. Last time we respecced (and played) was over a year ago, we think.
