Spamaroni and Cheese

So pet and I just have to say a few words about servers and spamming. Spam has become an issue. We were all aware of that before, but I have seen a sharp increase in the amount of party invites and spam tells I have gotten, especially since Patch 2.3 went live.

Tonight I was playing with Z on a random server our mutual friend plays on. We rerolled a shaman (and a hunter). I got at least three spam party invites within half an hour. Curious as to what they were advertising for this time, I accepted, got spammed for a "damage changer," then it had me autoinvite another poor little newb to spam, thus continuing the vicious cycle.

Now I don't know if they always made it so that it forced you to "carry on" the spam chain, so I was a little bothered that it was forcing me to do some of its dirty work. I don't know if this is the case for all spam these days, but I was more than a bit peeved.
